About the Area Located in Fannin County (40% of which is National Forest). 300 miles of Hiking Trails, as well as Cycling & Mountain Biking Trails. It is less than 30 miles to Ocoee River rafting. Here are some excerpts from recent articles on Blue Ridge: New York Times - 'Beyond the obvious - the proximity to Atlanta, the mountain lifestyle, the upscale amenities, the quaint downtown - the greatest appeal of Blue Ridge may be it's people. By city-slicker standards, they’re downright friendly and accommodating... The climate is another plus. The area is cooler than Atlanta during the summer, but still far enough south that it snows only occasionally during the winter.' Mountain Homes Southern Style, Spring 2006 - 'It's the flavor of Mayberry but with the amenity of a great little town... This place is what Highlands, NC was 20 years ago.'

Features The Kitchen has all stainless steel appliances and beautiful granite countertops. The Living Room, eating area and Kitchen are one large room so everyone can be together. The front covered deck has rocking chairs, dining table, gas grill and wraps around the side to a small table which is wonderful for an afternoon cocktail. That leads to the screened porch which stretches across the back of the home. The bath on the main floor is very large and has a jetted tub along with a separate shower. There are also double vanities and plenty of room. The road and drive are paved and the cabin is easily accessible, but yet totally private as you cannot see another structure from this beautifully furnished home. You will fall in love with “Little Piece of Heaven”.
