Fish right off the bridge, walking distance from the house for tarpon. Try to catch the resident tarpon right out the back door, they live in the canal.. rent or bring bikes,kayaks,boats. try parasailing,wind surfing,snorkeling and diving. water ski or shop, see a show in Key West or Marathon, it is your vacation and it is all here in the lower Keys. As f August 08, Big Pine has opened a new park for kids: basketball,swings,skateboard park etc.
