Gloucester - Annisquam apartment Rental Property Information
As cozy and convenient as it is affordable, this simple and bright efficiency suite is located within a few minutes walk and drive of Gloucester's Back Shore and Atlantic Ocean leading to the popular Good Harbor Beach. It's an easy walk, bike or drive to Eastern Point and Niles Beach, where you can enjoy the coastline, estates & mansions , historic lighthouse, Gloucester breakwaters and scenic harbor views. Located on a residential property (a former bed & breakfast), the suite itself is not part of the main residence but rather in a separate building - a non-working garage used for storage below with a charming cottage ambiance. Led to the second level by a wooden outside staircase, the 600 sq. ft. suite is supplied with everything an individual, couple or small family (not more than 3 people total) might need while on vacation or in short term transition. The owners are a working family with 3 children, 2 cats & one very friendly Labrador.

America’s oldest seaport, settled in 1623, offers one of the busiest fishing ports on the Eastern seaboard as well as rich history, natural beauty, incredible beaches, fresh seafood, and on-water activities, such as the popular whale watch excursions or visits to a working enclave of art colonists. At the northern-most tip of Cape Ann lies the quaint town of Rockport settled in 1690. Known as a port and area of granite cutting, Rockport is one of the country’s oldest artist colonies, and offers Bearskin Neck as well as beaches and a working port for fish and lobstermen. Motif #1 is a must on sight seeing. Bucolic Essex, in the past a shipbuilding epicenter and home to 4000+ schooners - today known for exceptional antiquing, Essex river cruising, kayaking in the estuaries and award winning 'chowda' + fried clams. Experience historic Salem - its bewitching history of the Salem Witch Trials, Nathaniel Hawthorne's House of Seven Gables, and maritime history @ Peabody Essex Museum.
