  • The master bedroom is gorgeous. The cathedral ceiling with exposed collar ties highlights the historic character of the house. A large window looks out over Betterton, with glimpses of the Bay visible from the room. The king size bed is top quality (Sterns and Foster), very plush. Just adjacent to the master bedroom is a very large dressing room. (Not included above.) It could easily accommodate sleeping for an infant or small child. Cot provided. Two twin size beds in each of two smaller bedrooms (4 beds total) can be arranged as a twin and a trundle, two twins side-by-side, or a single king size bed. These two rooms are a bit small, and would function best with two children or an adult and a child. Two adults in each of the smaller rooms is an option.

Notes:

Cell phone coverage for Verizon is great; spotty for T-Mobile. Other carriers not known. The drinking water is delicious! I've never tasted better. Kayak is very stable, more like a canoe in handling. Water sports equipment (tubes, floaties, etc) provided. House is a non-smoking house. Removed iron and board. Died in July 2009 and not yet replaced.
