This cottage is great for walking to the beach or the lakeshore, and seeing deer and wildlife. Secluded yet minutes away from all the attractions of Saugatuck and Douglas. 'Solitude' is open and inviting. Relax and enjoy all new birch hardwood floors, fireplace, full bath, and fully equipped kitchen (super kitchen, dishwasher, garbage disposal, etc). Cable TV in the living room and master bedroom. DVD and CD player. Deck with barbeque grill and outdoor furniture with umbrella. Great screened-in porch in which you and friends/family can read or just sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine! 2 bedrooms with a queen bed and full bed, respectively. Rollout sofa in LR. Washer and dryer equipped.

If you are looking for an opportunity to relax and enjoy a serene environment, this is a cottage you'd enjoy. The interior is very airy and bright, with inviting and intimate decoration. In a nutshell, it is cozy. Solitude is somewhat secluded. It’s only a short leisurely walk to Douglas Beach, and even a shorter distance to one of the most peaceful and beautiful walks you'll encounter - Lakeshore Drive. As you walk, you'll be above Lake Michigan vistas that rival any you've seen, and see some of the finest estates along the shore. The master bedroom has sliding door access to the screened in porch. Enjoy the clear and refreshing evenings with your friends sitting on that porch! Or enjoy the back deck as you grill burgers and steaks. In the morning or early dusk, you may see deer or wild turkeys rambling outside. You will be a very short ride to downtown Douglas and Saugatuck, famous Oval Beach, Dunes State Park, and many other attractions.
