The Virginia Creeper Trail is 30 minutes away! Best bike ride you have ever had! This is a converted narrow gauge train track that runs between White Top adjacent to Mt Rogers, and Damascus Virginia. Bike rental and tram services are at both ends of the trail so you can only go downhill if you so desire. I like the 20 or so trestles that tower over the river. Incredible hiking is also right there! Whether going for a view at White Top pass, the Appalachian Trail, or many other trails over Mt Rogers.

Virginia Horse Trail This trail circles Mt Rogers State Park. We have a pasture adjacent to the property if you want to bring your horses!

West Jefferson This town has turned into a tourist attraction with its arts and crafts, excellent restaurants, and Christmas in July celebration. There is also a farmer's market that sells much more than produce. Don't forget to buy some locally produced cheese while you are there! Jefferson Landing is a wonderful golf course amongst million dollar homes! Beech Mountain and Sugar Mt. are an hour to the south.
