Rotonda is situated on the Cape Haze peninsular west of Charlotte harbour, between Venice & Sarasota to the North and Naples to the South. From the air, it appears to be a perfect circle, two miles from the coast and about three miles in diameter. It is divided by its canals and infrastructure into eight segments, with a blend of high-calibre homes, lakes, golf courses and green belt. Voted amongst the top 10 ‘best places to live in the USA’, this area is a great base to explore the real Florida, providing easy access to the towns of Venice, Sarasota, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Fort Myers, Naples and The Everglades. Tampa and Busch Gardens are an hour and a half to the north. Orlando and the many other theme parks, such as Disneyworld and Universal Studios, are 2.5 hours drive.
