If booking within two weeks of Arrival, then a Bank Check or payment via Paypal is required to book property. Security Deposit Due at the final payment balance or for those booking within two weeks of arrival in cash upon arrival. If preferred, a Rental Agreement can be sent by U.S. mail. Confirmation receipt will be e-mailed.

    Bathroom 1 - Toilet, Combination Tub/Shower, old fashioned ball foot tub with shower head attached
  • Small, but sunny bathroom is close to the bedrooms for night-time ease. Bathtub is an old fashioned ball /foot tub, which is great for a long soak looking out at the trees after all that sightseeing or swimming in the ocean. Shower head is attached at the wall for shower use. A stool beside the tub for stability for those not as 'able' as others to get into and out of the tall sided tub.

    Bedroom 1 - 1 Queen, 1 Baby Crib, New crib can be requested at no additional cost
    Bedroom 2 - 1 Double, 1 Twin size folding cot for the second bed
  • The cottage Comfortably accommodates four adults, but for families traveling with children under 15 it can accommodate two adults with three young children. Both bedrooms have closets in addition to one dresser in each room. Bedroom 2 has a view of the water and a twin size cot can be put up for children who do not wish to share a double. This also has a new mattress (2008) with a pillow top. Bedroom #1 has a slight view of a cove behind the cottage. The mattress in bedroom #1 is a year 2000 model & only used during the summer months, so there is no uncomfortable night sleep. The living room couch also provides a comfy sleeping area for the tween or teen in the group. There are also two 'bed-guards' for little children available, easy to use. Bring sleeping bags & let the older kids sleep on the deck for a fun night 'out' on a Maine island! A crib (year 2000) is available upon request, fitted sheets included. Bedrooms close to the bathroom in this tiny cottage for nighttime ease.

**WIRELESS INTERNET COMING SEASON 2010**** A two-person kayak available (we do not supply life vests, they can be rented in Boothbay). For the 2-6 year old range, we have a small child's playhouse that can be placed in the yard for your children to play in, we also have a Red Wagon to take the little one's along for a ride while you take a stroll over the little wooden bridge to the small island next door. Plenty of beach toys for the little ones to build sand castles, dig for crabs, toss a ball etc. Wood blocks, wood puzzles and some toys for the tiny kids. A croquet, badminton & vollyeball set for family outdoor time. Cards & some adult games too! An Tigin has a small monitor (heating system) to take the chill off in very cold weather, though the wood stove is quite ample for summer/fall use. Small video library for the kids and adults. A few pots of herbs for those looking for fresh herbs. And Please, Due To Family Allergies!! Absolutely No Pets Allowed! No Exceptions Please!!

Things to See & Do in Boothbay What is there not to do in Boothbay Harbor!!! Southport has a swing bridge with a fantastic view, great to fish or daydream from, three lighthouses can be seen from various island locations. Southport also has a small, clean beach close to a lighthouse, fun for swimming, shelling and enjoying the view all without leaving the island. The aquarium is 2 miles, the Railway Station & the mini putt-putt golf course is 7 miles and fun for kids of all ages. Shops & restaurants galore. Boat trips, both power & sail leave the harbor all day long. Kayak rentals to go out on your own. Charter a fishing boat for the day. A world class Botanical Garden and many Land Trust hiking trails. Antique shops and flea markets too! Take a day trip to Monhegan, a trip worth experiencing, a step back in time!! The entire Boothbay peninsula has so much to offer and such beautiful scenery you have to go no further than that, but if you do want to head out further, it is a great base for sightseeing!
