Small, charming waterfront cottage with lawn leading down towards the water, 50 ft away. Great sunny deck looking south past islands, to the east towards Boothbay Harbor & the inner islands. Cozy, yet light and cheerful! Enjoy the feeling of Island Living all with comfortable beds, furniture and new appliances. Eat outside on the deck, bring back lobsters & cook them yourself for a relaxing lobster dinner right at 'home'. Settle in on a foggy day with a book, puzzles, games and a woodstove fire. At water's edge you can launch your own kayak or try fishing at high tide, take a walk over the little wooden bridge and step back in time the way life used to be. A small garden with herbs for cooking. Small children's playhouse for the 2-6 yr olds. Red Wagon to tote the little one's to the beach. Perhaps a game of croquet on the lawn! Five minutes from Boothbay Harbor and all the shops, galleries, boat/sailing tours, restaurants, YMCA & other summer time activities it has to offer!

What is there not to do on the water in Boothbay!! Last week of June brings Windjammer Days, July brings the fireworks over the harbor, June-early Sept brings sunset or dinner cruises. Mid-Sept brings a weekend of big-time sailing races. October brings the foliage. Rent a kayak, small boat, charter a boat to fish or just have a picnic. Head out to an island and sightsee. Shops, galleries and restaurants galore. Lots of trails to go hiking on. World class Botanical Gardens newly opened. YMCA to stay fit after eating all the lobster and clams. Ice cream parlors and mini golf, perhaps a day on the beach, or just rent a video for a quiet day inside while listening to the foghorns. Photographer and artists dream location.

  • Bathtub is an old fashioned ball /foot tub, which is great for a long soak. Shower head is attached at the wall for shower purposes. A stool used for beside the tub for stability for those not as 'able' as others to get into and out of the tub.

  • The cottage comfortably accommodates four adults, but for families traveling with little children it can accommodate five-six. Both bedrooms have ample closet space in addition to one dresser in each room. Bedroom 2 has a view of the water and it also has a twin size cot for those who do not wish to share a double. Bedroom #1 has a slight view of a cove behind the cottage. The living room couch also provides a comfy sleeping area for the tween ot teen in the group. There are also two 'bed-guards' for children available, easy to use.

For the 2-6 year old range, we have a small child's playhouse that can be placed in the yard or on the deck for your children to play in, we also have a Red Wagon to take the little one's along for a ride while you take a stroll over the little wooden bridge to the small island next door. Plenty of beach toys for the little ones to build sand castles, dig for crabs, toss a ball etc. Wood blocks & wood puzzles for the tiny kids. A croquet set for family outdoor time. Tigin has a small monitor (heating system) to take the chill off in very cold weather, though the wood stove is quite ample for summer/fall use. Small video library for the kids and adults.
