A private dock, beach and canoe are yours to enjoy all Howard Pond has to offer – boating (motorized boat traffic is rare), trout and salmon fishing, swimming or just lazing the afternoon away on the dock . Sunset Lodge basks in the sun all day and catches the final rays and dramatic sunsets. The nearby Mahoosuc and White Mountains provide world-class hiking while the Androscoggin River in Hanover village offers outstanding fly and spin fishing for rainbow and brown trout as well as small-mouth bass
