Just above one of the prettiest and quiet white sand beaches in Costa Rica, Casa el Mango enjoys cooling ocean breezes and terrific Pacific ocean views. Pristine, and less developed than many norhern Guanacaste resort towns, Samara provides a more laid back and family-friendly atmosphere. It is not only a charming beach village, with a wide choice of restaurants and activities, but it is also a thriving fishing and farming community. Fishing boats return to the harbor at sunset. Cattle and horses wander the wooded trails. Children walk to school along the beach in their crisp uniforms. Samara is surrounded by world-class surfing beaches, many almost deserted, while its own bay provides safe swimming and beginning surfing with its protective reef. Local guides offer tours for dolphin and whale watching, active volcanoes, sailing, fishing, snorkeling, rafting and kayaking, zip-line canopy tour. Get involved with turtle nesting, english teaching, or a Spanish language course.

Further Details for the house in Costa Rica, Central America
Samara's reef-protected bay provides safe swimming with snorkeling. Beginners' surfing is right in the bay, with world-class waves nearby. There is abundant wildlife in the trees around the house. Wake up to the roar of the Howler monkeys or the call of the green parrots as they make their twice daily pass to nesting sites up the hill. There is a zipline canopy tour nearby. A nearby wetland is great for birding. Samara has shops, post office, police station, groceries, internet cafes, doctor, pharmacy, many good restaurants, and 'sodas' (Tico for cafe). The beach is quiet and gorgeous. It is nearly empty most of the week, except in the mornings when the children walk to school. Casa El Mango shares a 'get cool' pool and a spacious covered rancho with Casa la Papaya, also available for vacation rental. Up the hill is Casa el Gecko, also for rent. Reserve one, two, or all three houses for an unforgettable tropical gathering.
Samara, and all of Costa Rica, is booming. Casa el Mango is located in a mixed international/tico neighborhood along a paved road. The evenings are quiet and serene, with amazing star shows and the sounds of night animals. Dawn approaches with visits from monkeys, parrots, other wildlife and maybe a neighborhood rooster. Daytime includes the occasional motorbike or truck and - an obvious sign of Costa Rica's prosperity - people building their dream vacation homes. For more photos and floor plans, send an inquiry via email. We have lots more information to offer: about the house, the area, the weather, what to bring etc.
Other Activities zip-line canopy tour, surfing, boating, wildlife viewing, kayaking
