Its Pine Paneled Rooms include 12'x18' Lounge (family room) w/windows on three sides, trundle couch opens to twin beds, Lavatory; Living Room; Dining Room; Well equipped Kitchen; Queen Bedroom; enclosed Sleeping Porch w/twin beds; Bathroom w/Shower. View of the Lake from Every Room. Lots of Privacy. Gas GRILL on 26' wooden Deck. From the deck, a Private Path leads to Your PRIVATE HIDEAWAY with camp chairs at the Shoreline of our Cove. Here the water is Shallow, the lake bed Sandy for little feet. Nearby is the Dock you may share with the owners. 2 Canoes for your use. Linens not provided, but blankets are. Rent includes gas, phone w/unlimited long distance (not including calls to other countries), TV, high speed wireless internet. Electricity is extra. No smokers, no pets, please. LAKE BUEL IS A JEWEL in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts, located 7 miles from GREAT BARRINGTON. It is near Stockbridge, Tanglewood and all the sights and sounds and scenery you've heard of that draw one to this area. The Little House has its OWN SHOREFRONT on the Lake. It is a half a mile down a private dirt road which leads to a pleasant (mainly summer) community that has been in existence for over one hundred years. Our piney woods, with its dense understory of deciduous trees and shrubs, is home to a hidden multitude of animals and birds. The Lake has three inlets, plus an outlet, and is spring-fed besides, thus it constantly refreshes Itself. Suffice it to say, you don't need a shower when you come up from your swim.
