Shelter Cove is a unique coastal getaway nestled in the Lost Coast Wilderness. It is about a 45-minute drive from Garberville at Highway 101. The road there takes you through breathtaking views and ancient redwood forests until you reach Shelter Cove. There you will find a small village with panoramic views of the ocean, quiet black sand beaches and lots of intriguing tide pools. An airstrip is located within walking distance of the house and tie-downs are available. Sleeps 2-4 comfortably. Open floor plan downstairs with living room, dining room, 1/2 bath, kitchen, gas fireplace and balcony with a magnificent ocean and greenbelt view. Master bedroom has private balcony and ocean view. Master bathroom with over-sized jacuzzi tub.

Shelter Cove is a hidden place on the Lost Coast. Very peaceful fishing community designed for a vacation get-away. Some may want to walk on the beach or spend time exploring of tidepooling, others may want just to land at the airstrip and golf for the day. Hiking, camping and backpacking are also very popular.
