Example Three-night Weekend Excursion: The following paragraphs describe a typical three-night weekend excursion aboard El Don. Our schedule is flexible so an excursion may also be booked for mid-week if you prefer. However, a weekend excursion is an ideal way to have a truly relaxing getaway at a modest price and without extensive travel time. Please come to Loreto and enjoy a private charter aboard the classic motor yacht El Don.
Thursday & Friday Fly from LAX to Loreto on Thursday afternoon on either Alaska or DELTA Airlines. Our staff will pick you up at the airport and take you to El Don in Puerto Escondido. After getting to know the crew, you will review your itinerary with our staff and the crew. The first night you will likely cruise to Isla Danzante to spend the evening and enjoy hors d'oeuvres, drinks and dinner. Friday morning after breakfast and possibly an early morning swim, cruise to Isla Carmen and stop along the way at any of the various secluded beaches for swimming, exploring and lunch. Travel on to Salina Bay and visit the salt mining ghost town. Spend the evening and enjoy hors d'oeuvres, drinks and dinner in this protected bay. Try your luck at fishing along the way and our Mexican Chef will prepare your freshly caught fish for dinner.
Saturday & Sunday Saturday morning cruise along the coast of Isla Carmen and then on to Isla Cornados. Enjoy swimming in the sandy cove and beach combing along the western end of the island. Sunday morning, cruise to Loreto for a stop in this quaint Mexican fishing village on your way back to the airport for your afternoon flight to LAX. Our staff will ensure that you get to the airport on time for your flight. The cost of this weekend excursion, airfare not included, for two guests is $2,400.00 and for four guests is $3,000.00. Please inquire for larger parties. Other itineraries to seclude beaches and anchorage’s on more remote islands such as Isla Monserrat, Isla Santa Catalina as well as further south along the Baja coast to Agua Verde are readily available.
Other Activities Spear fishing, beach combing, photography
