Hedgesville cottage Rental Property Information

The charm and beauty of this cottage start from the inside where new ceiling fans and and light dimmers are in every room and the screened porch. A wood burning fireplace and stained glass window in the living room provides a cozy ambiance, while the central air and heat maintain a comfortable temp year round. The screened porch leads to the deck in the back of the house that looks out over the trees where the deer can be found sleeping or moving through in the early morning or afternoon . Occasionally wild turkeys can also be seen moving through the wooded area. You will have access to the resort outdoor and indoor swimming pools and indoor hot tub. There are also several out door and indoor tennis courts, plus a racquet ball court. And of course the golf courses have been highly rated in some golfer's magazines. You can enjoy a relaxing meal at the Inn Restaurant or cook at your cottage, or drive 20 min. to a nearby restaurant.

The cottage is located on a 1.4 acre wooded lot at the end of a cul-de-sac in a resort community. You can drive to nearby towns, including Berkeley Springs, (20 minutes away), Hagerstown, MD and Pennsylvania. You can stay on the resort grounds and play tennis, golf, swim or hike the trails. There is an asphalt path around a small lake in front of the Lodge's restaurant.

* Pet Friendly: Though the property is pet friendly for dogs, they must be kept on a leash and picked up after when walking. Dogs should be crated when left alone, since being left alone in a new environment can be stressful, bringing about destructive behavior and therefore costly expense for the vacationer. * Handicapped Accessible: Though not wheelchair accessible, there are only three steps to enter the cottage where all rooms, except the loft are on the main level. * Kid Friendly: The cottage is child friendly, though the deck off the back of the cottage is very high from the ground level. So, it is advised that children be supervised when on the deck. * Minimum Age Limit for Renters is 25 years old. * Smoking Not Allowed: Please, absolutely no smoking in the cottage.
