Digby farmhouse Rental Property Information

Rustic, homey, quiet and clean this farmhouse comes fully equipped. Enjoy the relaxing surroundings of our 40 ac. property. a 1o min. walk takes you to the Bay of Fundy shoreline to beach comb for sea treasures, go whale watching with one of the many operators in the area, sample local cuisine at area cafes or relax on the deck while watching the birds and butterflies visit the flower garden. Pets are welcome. Great for children, we are one hour away from Upper Clements Amusement Park. For avid golfers, the Digby Pines Resort is 45 min away. Getting to our quiet island is easy-we are 45 min away from the St John ferry, 160 Km from Yarmouth ferry,and 720 km from Halifax airport. The four min. ferry ride is $5.00 return. Farmhouse (circa 1830) has been tastefully restored and features Sat TV, b.b.q. (propane) lawn chairs, linens are provided. The kitchen features full size fridge, stove, coffeemaker, microwave, all cooking utensils,coffee provided free. Hope to see you soon!

Lakeview Farmhouse offers a great place to stop and rest while taking in the local festivals. Digby Scallop Days, Freeport Days, Digby Wharf Rat Rally and many other smaller festivals are within the area to enjoy. Hiking the Balancing Rock Trail is easy as we are only 5 mins. away. Long Island is only 10 miles long so you can explore many nature trails at your leisure. We are famous for our Whale watch tours beginning mid-May to October. Our past customers have enjoyed the boat ride just as much as seeing the whales! Our three communities on Long Island are renowned for their friendliness and hospitality. If getting away from it all is your vacation objective than you are going to fall in love with our Island.!
