Waupaca house Rental Property Information

If you are looking for a property that can handle a large group like a family reunion or a large gathering of friends, this is the best option for you. The property has two dwellings that can accommodate a maximum of 19 people. They are located side-by-side and both face the lake with sweeping waterfront views. The original 1905 Farmhouse has been fully restored and includes all the modern amenities. This includes central AC/Heat, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry machines, a grill, and access to high speed wireless Internet. The Farm House has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, and a Florida room. It can sleep up to 10. The large deck overlooking Sunset Lake is a great place to cook out. The Annex is also newly restored. We added central air and heat, a full kitchen, 1 ½ bathrooms, and a living room with cable TV and DVD. The sleeping quarters consist of 1 queen, a twin, and 3 bunk beds and can sleep 9. An upper level deck offers spectacular views of Sunset Lake.

The waterfront has a private dock, deck area, and access to a swimming raft, 2 kayaks, a Sunfish sailboat, and a pedal boat. A sandy beach is maintained for young children and easy access to all the boats. A pontoon boat and fishing boat are also available for rent. Bedding is included with this property. About Us John Sturm grew up in nearby Manawa. In 1991, after working as a boat captain and tour guide at Clear Water Harbor, he wrote the book, Stretching Waters: an Historical Guide to the Chain O' Lakes. The book won a merit award from the Wisconsin Historical Society, but more importantly, it solidified John's connection to the Chain O' Lakes and the warm, friendly community of Waupaca. John's wife Paula also grew up in Manawa. They got married in June of 2005 and had their wedding reception right on the banks of Stretching Waters! Their beloved English bulldogs, Fonzie & Lucy, complete the family!

Golf Information: There are 2 golf courses located in Waupaca. Foxfire is an 18 hole course located just 2 miles away. The Waupaca Country Club is my favorite. It is a spectacular 9-hole course.
