Kennebunk house Rental Property Information
Step out the Log Home door & experience Maine country charm at its best. Start your day with coffee on the 8x18' screen porch. Play a game of badminton or croquet on the huge lawn. Bike down quiet, dead end Shore Rd. Explore miles of trails behind the cabin on foot or mountain bike. Within a 4 minute walk you can swim, kayak (2 available) or fish for brown trout, brookies, bass, & rainbows (rod available). The shared dock is a great place to sunbathe and swim using cabin beach toys & inflatable rafts. When oceanfront properties are fogged in, the sun typically shines here at Kennebunk Pond just 12 miles inland! Within a half hour drive along lightly traveled country roads, you can enjoy the ocean, golf, antiquing, the movies, miniature golf, casual/fine dining, amusement parks, local theater, shopping & more. End your day back at the Log Home sitting by the fire pit or relaxing on the screen porch listening for the loons and star gazing - the stars are very bright here in the country!

These historic villiages have quaint shops, casual & fine dining, whale watch tours, and of course, sandy beaches on the Atlantic! Take the kayaks to Cape Porpoise for a paddle to the Lighthouse then pick up lobsters to enjoy back at the Log Home. Just to the north, Saco, Biddeford & Old Orchard Beach are known for their sandy beaches & amusement/water parks. Portland, a quaint waterfront city is an easy 35 minute drive. From Portland, consider taking a ferry boat ride to one of the many Maine Islands in Casco Bay. To the south, Ogunquit & Wells are dining/antiquing heaven. From Wells, board the Downeaster Train for Boston. In under an hour you can shop 'til you drop in the outlet towns of Kittery or Freeport, home of LLBean, open 24/7! Yearn for the mountains? North Conway in the NH White Mountains is about an hour away.
