This magnificent cabin is located in scenic, Spearfish Canyon in the Black Hills, just 15 miles from Deadwood. The cabin has wonderful, open living spaces. The living room has a gas fireplace and large T.V. with satellite, dining area, full kitchen with dishwasher and separate sitting nook. The living room opens up to a game room with pool table. The cabin has a garage and fully paved roads for easy access. Spearfish Creek runs right behind the cabin for a very private, picturesque setting - perfect for eating on the back deck or relaxing in the hot tub, under the stars! Enjoy watching the wildlife, including deer and turkeys. Fish in the creek, hike or bike on the many trails the Black Hills has to offer. For winter sports, the cabin is close to snowmobiling and skiing - this is the perfect Black Hills Getaway!

The Northern Black Hills are rich with history. Deadwood offers museums, gambling, western history, fun park with miniature golf and go-carts. The Mickelson Trail offers miles of beautiful, scenic hiking and mountain biking as well as an extensive snowmobile trail system. Enjoy rodeos, Days of 76' festival, Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, ATV riding, horseback riding, wonderful stream and lake fishing, skiing and sledding. Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park are within an hours drive along a very scenic highway. Relax and watch wildlife, enjoy hunting and bird watching.

Tourism The Black Hills are abundant with wonderful, colorful history. Deadwood is the heart of the old west with museums, parades, nightly gunfights, gold-panning and rodeos. Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park are an hours drive away to the southern Black Hills. Devils Tower in Wyoming g is a 2 hour drive to the East.

Fishing Spearfish Creek offers excellent fly fishing for rainbow and brown trout. There are also some nearby ponds that offer great fishing as well.

Outdoor activities Spearfish Canyon offers a variety of hiking and biking trails, rock climbing, scenic hikes with waterfalls. The Mickelson trail Marathon is a huge draw in June for walking and running enthusiasts and then the Spearfish Canyon Marathon is in August. In winter, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, downhill skiing and sledding are just outside the front door as well as our extensive trail system for snowmobiling

Skiing Information: Terry Peak Ski Area and Deer Mountain Ski Area are the 2 local ski areas where you will find skiing for all levels.

Golf Information: There are 2 golf courses close to the cabin. Lead Country Club is a beautiful, 9-hole, public course just 10 minutes from the cabin. Tomahawk Country Club is another 9-hole course about 30 miles from the cabin. Boulder Canyon Country Club is an 18-hole course approx. 30 miles from the cabin.
