The oceanfront community of Honokowai is on the far west side of Maui. It is located approximately 1/2 mile from the West Maui Regional airport, and is just minutes north of both Lahaina (Whaling Village) and the tourist-area known as Kaanapaali beach. The area is known for it's relative tranquility and laid-back atmosphere, and lack of high-rise hotels. The Honokowai area consists mostly of oceanfront, low-rise, condominium communities.
Honokowai is just minutes to the south of both Napili and Kapalua beach areas.
Thus, Honokowai offers you an attractive alternative to the high-rise crowds, while being literally minutes away from some of Maui's best attractions!
