The home is minutes away from Ghost Town (2 adult tickets provided with rental), Cataloochee Ski Resort, Cataloochee Elk Preserve, Smoky Mountains Ntl Park, Cherokee Indian Reservation (Harrah;s Casino), Waynesville, fishing, white water rafting, and more. You will be 60 to 90 minutes from Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge Tennessee, where kids and adults can visit numerous other attractions including Dollywood. You're minutes away from a theme park, Elk preserve, ski resort, other creeks and lakes, the Smoky Mountains National Park, trout fishing ponds and creeks, a major casino at an Indian reservation, horse back riding stables, white water rafting, fly fishing, small hometown stores, antiquing, restaurants, hiking, trailing, bike riding, rock climbing, a classic motorcycle museum, and much more!

The owners try to maintain some of the most needed items but cannot guarantee that they will always be there since restocking takes several trips a year. However, for the most part, basic soaps, including laundry soap, sheets, quilted bed covers, and plenty of towels are at the house as well as paper towels, paper dishes, toilet paper, napkins and more. To be sure, the renters are encouraged to buy the main necessities prior to arrival or thereafter. The living room TV is a 46-inch Sharp TV with HD Cable.

Very affordable for its location and surroundings. Compare prices of homes in the immediate area within and around the Maggie Valley Club (golf resort), This home is situated in a very centralized part of Maggie Valley, within walking distance to the resort and the golf course itself. The house is at a very comfortable elevation peaking at around 3200 feet. Maggie Valley's elevation is at approximately 3000 feet. So, it's just high enough to take in that mountain fresh air and tranquility, but it's low enough to feel comfortable and allow for easier access. If snow is a possibility, a 4X4 vehicle will give you more peace of mind, but any vehicle is fine for most of the year.
