Girdwood Alaska has it all. Home of Alyeska Ski Resort and Alaska’s famous salmon and halibut fishing. Our winter activities boast the incredible hela-sking with numerous operations in Girdwood. Local groomed cross country trails that wonder through the Alaskan town. As well as Alyeska Ski Resort with a local snow fall of up to 600 inches of powder per year “not hard to find a powder run”. Summer in Alaska can simply be said in three words Fishing, Fishing and Fishing.
