Sanibel Island house Rental Property Information
In the glorious beach front community of Gulf Pines on Sanibel, this home is for active nature lovers. The minimum rental allowed for homes on Sanibel is one month and all rates are quoted by the month. This four bedroom home is next door to the community swimming pool and tennis courts and just a very short walk to one of the world's most idyllic beaches. The living area has beamed ceilings, a wood burning fireplace and a huge lanai overlooking the lake. The kitchen is new and well equipped. There are four bedrooms,. The master is separated from the others by the living area and has a king size bed, a walk in closet and en-suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and overlooks the lake and the third has twin beds. There is also a fourth bedroom/den with a sleeper sofa. Downstairs, there an office/den, a workshop and a two car garage. High speed Internet, bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas and barbecues are supplied

Sanibel and Captiva Islands offer a myriad of activities from biking to beach walking. A network of bike paths run alongside all the major roads on the island and there are many bird watching locations, fishing charters and golfing at the two public golf courses, Beachview Golf Club and The Dunes Golf & Country Club. There is an offshore sailing school and a wonderful nationally known Sanibel SeaSchool for kids and adults. There are also nature tours with the Tarpon Bay Explorers. Sanibel is known for its fabulous beaches and beautiful shells and there is the Sanibel Shell Museum displaying fabulous shells from all over the world. Other activities include rollerblading, tennis, fishing, sailing, kayaking, guided walking tours in the J.N. 'Ding' Darling nature preserve and the Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation.. There are a number of good restaurants as well as live theater, a first-run movie theater, an historical village and an animal rescue center.

Gulf Pines Beachfront Community Gulf Pines is a community by the beach on Sanibel Island's western side. It's natural and unspoiled with J.N. 'Ding' Darling Wildlife Refuge bordering it to the north and Sanibel Captiva Conservation land to the east. The community lifestyle is casual and relaxed but there's plenty to do with two swimming pools, several tennis courts, a clubhouse where activities abound during the winter season and one of the world's most idyllic beach paths leading to a shell strewn beach.
Sanibel Island There are many different outdoor activities here on the islands, including biking, rollerblading, tennis, fishing, sailing, kayaking, guided walking tours in the J.N. 'Ding' Darling nature preserve and the Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation and golfing on the two public golf courses. In addition, there are a number of good restaurants and some good shopping as well as live theater, a first-run movie theater, a shell museum, an historical village, an animal rescue center and a thriving community of local artists.
Sanibel Island measures roughly 12 miles long and three miles across at its widest. Little sister Captiva Island has more compact measurements of approximately four miles long and ½ mile wide. -- The toll to cross the Sanibel Causeway onto the island is $6 per car; there is no toll to return to the mainland.
