Isla Mujeres house Rental Property Information

This beautiful private home is located on the charming Isla Mujeres, the Island of Women…just a short 20-minute ferry ride from bustling Cancun. Step through the gate into the privacy of this tropical sanctuary where exotic plants surround the sunken pool and a small waterfall spills from the grotto into the pool below. This spacious four-floor home includes four bedrooms and four bathrooms, two living rooms each on a separate floor, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, a rooftop wet bar, outdoor dining area, and a beautiful outdoor pool surrounded by flowers. The house is air conditioned and equipped with ceiling fans throughout. Each of the four bedrooms has a full bathroom and double closets. Isla Mujeres is a small island, but there’s a lot to do here. The gorgeous white sand beaches on the island’s north and western sides are ideal for an afternoon of sun and relaxation. Rent a golf cart to take a tour of the island, and stop for snorkeling and lunch at Garrafon, the island’s southern tip. You can also take a boat trip with Isla’s fishermen and snorkel, fish, or visit the nearby bird sanctuary. Playa Norte is Isla’s largest, longest and most popular beach. You can rent water toys, kayaks, snorkeling gear, chairs and umbrellas. There’s no better place to while away the afternoon at an open-air restaurant or in a shaded lounge chair. A variety of restaurants line the beach where you can enjoy fish caught moments ago, elegant Mayan-inspired cuisine, or a simple dish of beans and rice.   • Rates listed in U.S. dollars and subject to change. The 12% tax will be added into the final total
  • A 50% deposit is required within 14 days of confirming with owner that you would like to book the home. The remainder is required 30 days prior to arrival. Cancellations that occur 91 days prior to the arrival date are fully refundable. Cancellations between 61-90 days of arrival are subject to a 50% surcharge of the rental (essentially the deposit is forfeited). Cancellations between 31-60 days of arrival are subject to a 75% surcharge of the rental. Cancellations less than 30 days of arrival are subject to a 100% surcharge of the rental. Bookings made for one of the two peak weeks (mid-December to early January) are not refundable at all regardless of time of cancellation. The Owners will work with the renters to rebook them at some other time if they have to cancel for some reason and have to forfeit all (peak weeks) or a portion of their deposit (depending on date of cancellation) for the current stay booked. Owners will with the renter to find alternate dates.
  • During high season, based on full occupancy (8 people), the average cost per person for 7 nights is approximately $300. At half occupancy during high season (4 people), the average cost per person for 7 nights is approximately $600. Peak season per person costs are slightly higher and low season costs are much lower. TO CONFIRM YOUR RESERVATION To confirm your reservation, please send 50% of the total rental fee within one week of making your reservation. If the deposit is not received within two weeks of making your reservation, we will have to cancel it. We prefer to receive checks but can accept a wire transfer. Once you e-mail us we will work out the best way to receive your deposit as well as your balance (due prior to arrival otherwise access to the home will not be provided). Once your deposit has been received and posted to our account, you email receive a confirmation e-mail. Please note, the property owner, rental agent, or caretaker will not accept responsibility for an injury or loss sustained while residing at the property. Receipt of your deposit signifies your acceptance of these terms.

YOUR ARRIVAL TO ISLA Once you've booked with us and sent in your deposit, you will need to let us know your arrival time into Cancun Airport or your estimated arrival time to Isla so our property managers can meet and greet you at the house when you arrive. This is critical as they will have the keys and will show you around the property. Finally, please request a PDF brochure from us upon booking that provides more information about the house and the island, with specific information about how to get to the house once you get to Isla. We recommend you print this out and bring it with you...just in case you have a new taxi driver who may not know where the house is (most know it by now).
