Family Friendly The house is set up well for families with young children, including baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs and toys in the family room. There is a swing set in the back yard and tricycles in the garage. A new gas grill is available for outdoor cooking. The general store is 1.5 miles down the street, a nice place to walk in the afternoon to pick up some ice cream and a DVD for the evening. Older kids will enjoy the movie theater in Bridgewater (a 15 minute drive) or sailing lessons at Lunenburg Yacht Club. Babysitting is easily arranged when you are ready for a night out. Riverport is close to all the best attractions of Lunenburg County. Historic Lunenburg, sandy beaches, coastal hiking, the Ovens Natural Park, and the LaHave Bakery are all less than 15 minutes away by car. This location offers a wide variety of amenities including fine dining, art galleries, boating, bicycling, and gorgeous scenery.
