Very special location offers great kayaking and sailing. Three kayaks and a Hobie Bravo sailboat included! Minutes from Rock Sound airport offering 2 direct flights daily to and from Nassau. Direct flights daily into Governor's Harbour from Fort Lauderdale. Property manager will pick you up and arrange for rental car! 'Senga na Lenga' is a native Figian language term meaning 'No Worries', and that is what you will find at Winding Bay!

Averaging a little more than a mile wide and 110 miles long is perfect for a quiet romantic getaway or a beach vacation for the family. Winding Bay and adjacent Half Sound offer great sightseeing, snorkeling, kayaking and sailing. Governor's Harbour airport offers daily flights from Fort Lauderdale and Rock Sound has 2 flights daily to Nassau. Charters directly to Rock Sound are available from all Florida east coast airports. Property manager will pick you up at the airport and provide a rental car for your use. Crib, high chair and carseat available upon request at no charge.

Villa is newly constructed and completed as of 1/1/2007. Directly on the beach with its own palm thatched cabana. Beach is exceptionally safe and child friendly - gently slope and no surf or large waves. Our section of the beach is protected from the Atlantic surf and waves by a nearby point. Ideal for non swimmers and infants. Villa features all ceramic tile flooring, cypress wood ceilings, upgraded kitchen appliances, stainless steel gas bar-b-q, an outdoor hot and cold shower, and wireless DSL internet service.

Convenience As an added convenience the refrigerator is stocked with some basic food provisions. Milk, juice, eggs, bread, soft drinks, pasta, sauce, cheese, coffee, and wine to celebrate your arrival! We also have a crib, high chair, and child's car seat. Our property manager Latoya Carey lives close by to insure your vacation is enjoyable and trouble free.

Bone Fishing Half Wound is a great location for bone fishing. In the rear of the property is a tidal flat and canal that accesses Half Sound.
