Harwich - Harwichport house Rental Property Information

Heather HideAway is a charming, well maintained home and is peaceful, centrally located and comfortable. Our home is in a very quiet and friendly neighborhood, and is only five homes away from the Cape Cod Bike Path, great for walking and biking. The neighborhood is next to 58 acres of conservation land, and the bike path takes you right through it. The beach closest to our home is Red River Beach on Nantucket Sound, which is one mile away. Nantucket Sound has gentle, rolling surf, which is great for children, and Harwich also boasts many wonderful freshwater ponds, many on the bike path.

Harwich is near the 'elbow' of the Cape - halfway between the Cape Cod Canal and Provincetown. Nantucket Sound Beaches are one mile away, and Harwich boasts many freshwater ponds. Near shopping, restaurants, golf, galleries, theater, fishing, seal cruises, wildlife sanctuaries, historic lighthouses, and of course wonderful Nantucket Sound and Pleasant Bay beaches! National Seashore (Atlantic side with surf) are approximately 20 minutes away.

The kitchen is fully stocked with the exception of a dishwasher. The washer and dryer are located in the walkout basement. The easy to access basement is perfect for storing bikes. You will find the home fully stocked with household supplies (dish soap, laundry soap, hand soap, etc) and paper products (toilet tissue, Kleenex, paper towels) and kitchen supplies (foil, plastic wrap). Most guests find the supply carries them through their stay, although depending upon your family's usage, you may need to replenish. End of stay housekeeping is included - you are on vacation after all! We do ask that the home is left neatly - for instance that all the trash is taken out, dishes are done, laundry consolidated. We'll take care of all the vacuuming, scrubbing, etc...

The Local Area The village of Harwich Port, with shops, boutiques, galleries, cafe's, ice cream shops, and restaurants are 5-7 minute drive. The quaint town of Chatham is about a 10 minute drive. Less than five minutes away is a ferry which will take you to the island of Nantucket for a fun and memorable day trip.
