Local attractions Close to Butternut Ski Mountain, Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow, Shaker Village, Norman Rockwell Museum, Shakespeare and Berkshire Theater Festivals, Berkshire Opera House, Pittsfield Country Club and Cranwell Golf Course & Spa. All of Berkshire County is within minutes, including Lenox, Stockbridge and Great Barrington. Golf, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, many fine restaurants, outlet shopping and gourmet markets are nearby. 2.5 hours to New York City, 2 hours to Boston, forty minutes south of Adams and Williamstown.

Activities all year long There are many outdoor activities to be enjoyed all year long. Less than five minutes away is York Lake, which has a sandy beach for the kids, swimming, picnicking, kayaking and conoeing.
