Locally owned and operated breweries and wineries will help quench your thirst after a day on the trails. You can even visit the historic Trapp Family lodge for a history lesson (and dinner). Stowe's surrounding towns have lots to offer as well. Waterbury is home to the famous Ben & Jerry's ice cream and The Vermont Teddy Bear Company. Smuggler's Notch offers additional skiing just a short drive away.
