Local attractions There are two excellent blue flag beaches within walking distance (500mtrs). Balaia is also within easy reach of several golf courses on the Algarve including Vilamoura and Pine Cliffs. Balaia is an ideal location for a family or golfing holiday. The resort is less than 30 minutes drive from Faro Int airport and offers easy access to all of the Algarve’s facilities, it is quiet and peaceful with outstanding facilities on resort and with attractive beaches and lively night life nearby. The 'Old Town' of Albufeira is 10 -15 minutes away by Taxi appx 5 Euros each way, with its lively cafes, bars, restaurants, night clubs and Marina..

Golf Information: In this lovely whitewashed, bougainvillea covered resort you can walk just a few yards to the clubhouse and first tee. When you've finished your round on this little gem of a nine hole par three course, take a leisurely dip in one of the six outdoor pools close by... or perhaps a workout in the gym followed by a few lengths of the indoor pool or laze in its corner Jacuzzi. Maybe, even, a session in the steam room and a relaxing massage. Later a game of tennis, or a bucket of balls on the 60 bay driving range. Want to improve your game?... at Balaia you can take lessons from one of the multi lingual professionals at the golf school. Everything on your doorstep and with great facilities in the apartment too.
