Spruce Pine cabin Rental Property Information

Nestled in the BLUE RIDGE mountains a very PRIVATE resort with 43 ACRES to explore . Walk the manicured trails down to the NORTH TOE RIVER where you can go fishing in the STOCKED river or just take a leisurely stroll along the 2/3 mile river path. The river is a great place to go swimming or put your canoe in the water. There is a beach area for the kids with a sandy bottom w/ picnic table and fire pit. There are HAMOCKS down by the river for you to take a nap or just listen to the river cascading by. A new cabin 'BRIGHID'S WELL' tucked away in the woods where peace and solitude is so important for relaxation. You can make an appointment to have a THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE, REIKI, REFLEXOLOGY or even an 'AWAKENING' to help you become even more relaxed. Life can be very stressful and here you can learn how to let go. Plan a weekend or longer getaway alone, as a couple or just a bunch of friends that need to get rejuvenated. The scenery is spectacular, a place where you can truly unwind.

Spruce Pine is 1 hr North of Asheville and 30 minutes from the ski resorts in Banner Elk and Boone. Spruce Pine offers antique stores and shops with local artist displays. Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns are 30 minutes away where you can spend the day or enjoy the Highland Games in the month of July. Gem Mining is an activity that the children and parents will enjoy. The Orchard on the Blue Ridge parkway(6 miles) during the summer months has Mountain music on Saturdays and allow you to go apple picking and offer hayrides.

Notes:

We have ceiling fans in all the bedrooms the house is surrounded by trees so a/c is not needed. We have ashtrays outside on both decks so (front and back) so you can smoke outside. If you need to fax something we have one at our property. Cell reception is usually pretty good. If you need a high chair let us know we can put one in the cabin as needed. We usually have chairs down by the river for you to use while you stay here and we have a cooler if you need one while you stay.

Shauncey's Place We renovated our 1000 sq ft barn loft into a place where we can host seminars , classes and private gatherings. Seating could be for 75 people or if tables are needed it can sit 50. Please call if you are interested in renting Shauncey's Place, price varies dependent on how many days needed and how many people will be attending. Yoga classes are on site at different times of the year. In the near future we will be hosting Irish musicians to come and play for a weekend from time to time. If your interested in being on a e-mail list for future seminars/classes please e-mail me.

'Brighid's Well' Tucked away in the woods where peace and solitude is so important for relaxation. You can make an appointment to have a Therapeutic Massage, Reflexology, Reiki or maybe even an 'Awakening' to help you become even more relaxed. Sometimes life is pretty stressful and here you can learn how to let go. Then when you are done you can walk back to your cabin and relax in the wonderful jetted tub for more pampering.
