Friendship cabin Rental Property Information

The Shooting Star is a wonderful log cabin located 75 feet from the ocean nestled in the charming town of Friendship. Watch the lobster men grab the haul of the day, or a sail boat catch a strong wind. Join them! Rent a kayak in town and paddle to one of the many islands for a picnic lunch. Read a book while the ocean splashes at your feet and the kids are searching for crabs and star fish along the coast line. Bird watching is plentiful. The blue heron, loons, and the rare bald eagle can all be found. Community tennis courts are a short walk up the road and are free for your use. Friendship is located 16 miles south of Rockland, where you will find many small shops, movie theaters, concerts, golf and fabulous restaurants like the New York Times highly rated Primo. Visit the Farnsworth Museum which is rich in treasures always featuring America’s most prominent living artist Andrew Wyeth. There is plenty to do or just simply relax. .
