In the WINTER, enjoy spectacular views of mountains and ski trails. Cut up the slopes at Mt. Snow which is only 5 minutes away. In the warmer months, you can bike the back roads, hike the numerous trails, kayak the lake or do nothing at all in the relaxing setting of The Green Mountains. Fast moving SPRING brooks make an expert fisherman out of anyone. Take a hike along the many trails or go horseback riding through the hills. In the SUMMER, you can sit on the deck...and do nothing, with only the sounds of birds and Cold Brook in the background. There are many lakes in the area to enjoy. Fresh fruits and produce are available all over the area at roadside stands...make it a point to stop for some. It's well worth it. Vermont has some of the most beautiful FALL foliage anywhere! Discover the back roads. Go apple picking or to a pumpkin patch during the day and cozy up to a warm fire in the evening.
