Franklin cottage Rental Property Information

The ideal vacation retreat! Stunning long range mountain views, long creek frontage, fishing pond and acres of gently rolling land. You couldn't ask for more, but there is more. The home is tucked away from surrounding properties and just as charming as could be. Light filled rooms during the day and the song of owls from the trees and frogs from the pond in the evenings. Kick back on the expansive deck and enjoy it all including the occasional deer crossing the property. Ideally situated on the south side of Franklin (between Franklin, NC and Clayton, GA) for families looking to get out of Atlanta for the weekend or Florida for the week. If you can pull the kids out of the creek long enough you can take all day hikes in the surrounding forest service or try your hand at gem mining. There is so much to do for all ages and all capabilities including antique shops and Harrah's Casino not too far down the road.

Escape the heat and traffic of the city and spend some quality time just 'loafering' (a local term meaning just relax!). Our mountains have so many wonderful activities to offer. You can physically exhaust yourself with the tubing, white water rafting, hiking and more or take a gentler approach and visit our antique mall, quaint downtown area or museums. We have it all and if it's not on our doorstep it's just a few miles down the road. We're looking forward to your visit and we know you'll be back.
