Sandusky house Rental Property Information
This property is the ideal location for family gatherings. Just outside of Sandusky, Milan keeps you out of Vacationland traffic while only being minutes from Cedar Point. It accommodates multiple families with plenty of room indoors and out. Enjoy the very large eat-in kitchen with a dinning room table and breakfast bar that keeps people out of the cooking area. Or send them into the adjoining game room to shoot some pool. The bedrooms have plenty of room for a pack and play or even a full size air mattress. The large back hallway makes a nice play area. Outside, enjoy a cookout on the grill, gather around the firepit, or explore the 4.5 acre wood. Once the home of Henry R. Welschon tobacco grower and cigar maker. Henry made his fortune during a time when 87% percent of the adult male population smoked cigars. Decorated in cigar memorabilia from the time period when the inn was constructed. **Great care is taken between stays to make the house smoke free

Historic Milan, Ohio. Birthplace of Thomas Edison. Reminiscent of a rural New England town, the Milan, Ohio retail business area is built around the charming town square which was established as the town's centerpiece in 1867 along with the Solders & Sailors Monument which was dedicated on July 4, 1867. The monument features the names of all 330 citizens of Milan who served in the Civil War. The clock towered town hall was built in 1876 and the Milan Library in 1912. The large picturesque gazebo was added in the 1960's and The Young Edison Statue in 1984. Annual activities on the square include Antiques On The Square in July and the famous Milan Melon Festival during the Labor Day Weekend each year.

| Notes: | This is a pet friendly, family friendly house. Smoking is allowed in the house, but there is also very accommodating outdoor areas for smokers to enjoy. The house is cleaned thoroughly between stays eliminating all traces of smoke. If your party chooses to enjoy a smoke-free environment, we have NO SMOKING signs available to post around the house. There is plenty of yard with this house. Set up a volleyball net, fill up a kiddy pool, or park the family RV in the side yard. Set up a few tents and invite all the relatives. Watch the free range chickens that wander the yard. Petunia, the pot bellied pig, is on site during the winter. She 'summers' at a nearby farm market. |
