Punta del Este is a chic and beautiful vacation area on the Atlantic Cost of Uruguay. During the summer, December-to-March, a variety of activities such as jazz festivals, film festivals, rodeos, fashion shows on the beach as well as tournaments, including golf, rugby and polo are available. Casinos, nature reserves, spas, top flight restaurants. Cruise ships now visit in growing numbers and the E! Entertainment Channel's ''Wild On'' program popularizing Punta del Este's inexhaustible night life for a broader international audience.
