Located 3 minutes from Highway 82 and 25 minutes from the Aspen/Snowmass ski areas, Sunlight Ski area and Yampah Hot Springs in Glenwood Springs, this contemporary multi-level home offers a quiet getaway after a day of skiing, boarding or shopping. The small neighborhood is within walking distance of restaurants, movies, bowling, bus line and shops. Vaulted ceiling in living room provides plenty of room to watch a 46 inch HD TV and DVD placed over a gas fireplace. The open dining room and kitchen (with milestone counters, gas range, tile floor) are spacious and accommodate several 'cooks' in the kitchen. Two cozy queen bedrooms and a bath are on the upper level with the master king suite on the mid level. A walk in closet and sitting area included with master bath/bedroom. 900 square feet of deck off the dining room offers a gas grill, fire pit, putting green and a 4 person hot tub for ultimate relaxation. Aspen and the entire Roaring Fork Valley offer a multitude of activities year round. They include skiing, boarding, x-c skiing, snowmobiling, fly fishing, hiking, climbing, biking staying 'mid valley' allows for easy access to Aspen/Snowmass, Glenwood Springs (famous Hot Springs, Caves and Sunlight Ski area) as well as galleries, restaurants, movies, x-c skiing all within 5 -10 minutes of your rental. Basalt is an old 'western' town, now famous for fly fishing year round, art galleries and dining. Easy hiking or challenging elevated climbs are accessible within 20 minutes. A new bike path connects most of the 40 miles of valley. The 'mid valley' has a warmer temperature than the ski areas and offers opportunities to enjoy many activities year round. The XGames at Buttermilk in January draw huge crowds and has become a top notch spectator event. A Park across from the rental has tennis courts, playing fields and walking path (also good for x-c skiing in the winter).

Skiing Information: If its premier skiing that you want with a variety of ski levels and fun filled apre ski then the Aspen/Snowmass and Buttermilk areas are for you. 25 minutes by car or bus will find you at either Buttermilk's beginner slope and snowboard park or at the 3 thousand plus acres of Snowmass or the compact and challenging runs on Aspen Mountain.

Golf Information: There is an abundance of golf courses in the area including a small par 3 5 minutes from the house. Every course offers stunning views of the Colorado landscape as well as challenging holes! During the winter it is possible to drive approximately 45 minutes west and play a round a Lakota.
