Tile floors with whimsical feel -- fish, mermaids, and flip flops abound! Also, outdoor shower to remove all that beach sand before you come into your special and very private vacation getaway! Old fashioned slat stones to skip across to the porch and outdoor shower.

Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. All full size appliances including your own washer and dryer. PRIVATE BEACH access for shelling and building sandcastles. I think that could be called a huge sandbox! Guests may smoke on screened lanai with sliding glass doors closed. We are very specific about no smoking inside the cottage and the lease will contain a non-smoking clause. We will consider a small dog after talking to the owner. (Sanibel allows leashed dogs on the beach!!) Ask about specific requests and we will try to accommodate you. We live close to Seagrape Cottage, so we are always available to you. Beachy cottage: cozy & comfy Oldtime Florida! Cottage: Adorable, old time, cottage offers so much more than a modern condo or home. A real beach cottage, steps away from a private Sanibel beach. You may have such quiet surroundings that your only company will be the gulls! Take advantage of the discounts; we offer them out of season, and if you stay over 1 month, we will work with you for a better price. We are great hosts and live 30 minutes away so we are always available for whatever needs you might have as well as to help you find what you want quickly. There is so much to do beside using the lovely beach. You have family-oriented activities as well as romance for the couple who need a well deserved get-away. Just glide into Sanibel and make yourself at home in a fully furnished, old style, adorable cottage. Large yard and 100 steps and you are at the beach... 300 ft the other way and you are at the bayside. 'We'll get there fast and then we'll take it slow... that's where we wanna go... way down to Sanibel!'

Places of Interest: You are only 10-20 miles away from lovely cities: Naples (awesome), Bonita Springs (quaint), and Ft. Myers Beach (honky-tonky.) Go shopping at Miromar Outlet Center or upscale Coconut Point with tons of cool restaurants. Night-life in this area is really good as well. Naples has 2 great art museums and a children's' zoo. Fort Myers' beach is only 5 minutes from Sanibel and there is a lot going on there for the younger crowd. There is so much happening in these areas that you can explore Sanibel and then go further to see what else SW Florida has to offer you and your family. A 20 film, screen theatre, the great Bell Tower Mall (with lots of good shopping and restaurants galore) and so much for you to explore. Take your family on a guided boat ride in The Everglades National Park! See alligators and wildlife- 45 min drive. Boat rentals and kayaking on/off island. Gorgeous spa off-island.

Call for any information you need and visit the site to see our GUEST REVIEWS and COMMENTS Couch in one cottage could be used for a child's sleeping area as it is comfy enough for that in case you have 4 people plus a child.

Skiing Information: Rent a boat or go on a boating deep sea fishing excursion. Jet and motor ski boats are available for rent.
