The house is just off the busy Mal Pais strip, yet still part of civilization! The town centre (where Santa Teresa and Mal Pais meet) is where you will find cafes, bars, restaurants and shops and you can be there in a short 10 minute drive. Malpais Mal País is best known for its panoramic sunsets, natural beauty and close proximity to the Cabo Blanco reserve, but above all for its optimal conditions for the practice of the sport of surfing. There are also many other tourist excursions awaiting you to enjoy during your stay here, among them being horseback riding, sport fishing, guided tours into the dry tropical forest, and marine tours via snorkeling, scuba diving or simply taking in the view by boat.

Perfect for.... Our house was custom built from the ground up, as our primary home for the past 2 years. Just under 3500sqft of jungle paradise including an Infinity Edge pool cascading into the jungle with ample outdoor covered 'ranchos' to shield you from the sun while enjoying the outdoors. We also have an incredible indoor setting of 22ft ceilings, rock walls and a commercial quality kitchen. 40' plasma TV, 2 master bedrooms with private en suite full bathrooms. As well, worth mentioning is our satellite internet connection- one of only 2 locations on the Peninsula with such speed. Remain connected to the the world, from deep within the jungle! Check with us before you arrive so we can help you arrange any tours or transportation you might need *quads, horseback tours, fishing tours, surf lessons etc* Malpais is an amazing place for a family vacation or a couples getaway. We built this house to live in for ourselves, so we know you will enjoy it!

Lighten your load with kids... House is child-friendly, please let us know if you are in need of a high chair, pack and play, stroller or any child/baby needs. We have a little one of our own, and know how much luggage can be involved with any vacation. Let us know ahead of time, and we can have everything ready for you so you don't have to bring any extras! Costa Ricans love children as you will soon find out if you are traveling with a young family. Everyone is welcome! Daily maid service, pool and property maintenance and all amenities needed for your comfort are provided as well (bottled water, towels, linens etc).
