Santa Cruz house Rental Property Information

Look out through the windows in the upstairs bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, and living room, as if you were watching an endless movie real. The surfers glide by on their boards in front of your face. A truly mesmerizing experience to watch. Their activity appears so effortless, but in actuality, not so. One can sit at the dining room table for hours and look out through the mirrored windows as the joggers, bicyclists, in-line skaters, and walkers go by. The home itself, was designed in 1979 by a prominent local architect. Previous to this the original structure historically had been used as a pizza parlor, restaurant, market, hippie commune, surfboard shop, and brothel. The name pleasure point, the area in which are located, was appropriately named by the many brothels which were located in this area in times gone by. The home is a craftsman type worthy of a ships craftsman's accolades. Each interior door is made of 65 separate pieces of wood. To keep the sand from the beach out of the house, we've installed a shower in the garage. In closing, the home is referenced in a book called Unique Architecture of Santa Cruz County. The home has something for everyone. The young can participate in all the action in close proximity and mature adults can watch without having ever left the house through the privacy of the mirrored windows or out in full view from the decks above. The home lends itself towards an action oriented group as well as those who are curious from a private location.
