Sunriver house Rental Property Information

Beautifully rustic, conveniently modern large home on a very private acre on the Deschutes River just south of world-famous Sunriver Resort. Situated right on the river overlooking a wildlife-rich peninsula where deer, elk, otter, foxes, chipmunks, eagles, ducks, geese and many other birds are regular residents. Downriver a view of Mt. Bachelor, with its world-class skiing, opens up, along with views of other nearby mountains. Over 1000 sq. ft. of connected living area, with a large living room, fireplace, seated dining for 16 or more at two tables, and a large country kitchen. A log deck that runs the length of the house overlooking the river and peninsula, with lounge chairs and another dining table. All upstairs rooms except one have river views. Two additional bedrooms and a game room with pool table and a log bunk bed downstairs, with river views. A hot tub, dock and a log deck overhanging the river are easily accessed from the upper deck or through the game room.

The Deschutes Riverside Retreat is in the most spectacular part of Central Oregon, on the Deschutes River with views of the Cascade Mountains and access to the world-famous Sunriver Resort. This area is famous for all sorts of outdoor activities, including hiking, skiing, river rafting, mountaineering, biking, and caving. Our house is located on a very private acre with easy access to all of these activities, as well as enjoying the silence of the forest, the beauty of the river, the sparkling air, and the constant presence of wild animals and birds while comfortably seated on a log deck overhanging the river. Sunriver has excellent restaurants, shops, bike paths, tennis courts, swimming pools, and all of the amenities one would expect from such a resort. Both relaxing, river, float trips and exciting white water rafting are close at hand.
