Detached garage/studio sleeps additional 4 in bunks (available September 08). Gas fireplace, radiant floor heating, fully-equipped kitchen, gorgeous views. In summer, limitless options, including hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, and fishing in local streams and rivers or on the huge pond out the back door (catch and release). In the winter, skating, XC skiing, sledding and snowshoeing on 32 private acres. Relax on the cedar deck overlooking the pond or on the sunny patio overlooking the next mountain ridge. Many restaurants, shops, studios, and outfitters nearby. The house is loaded with books, games, DVDs and videos. Ideal for two families to share. 3 hours from Boston, 5 from NYC. Pets with approval. The scenic Mad River is at the bottom of the hill with world class fishing, swimming, and kayaking available. Farmer's market, antiquing, shopping, movies, and wonderful restaurants available just down the road. Hike the Long Trail or check out countless scenic walks. Museums in Montpelier and Burlington. Holiday items are available ranging from a Christmas tree stand to holiday colored linens suitable for Christmas and Hannukah. A pine tree in front of the house is strung with lights that are ready to be plugged in. The house is lightly decorated for the upcoming Christmas holiday. Sleds and snowshoes are available for gentle use.
