Live entertainment includes concerts, opera, tennis, ballet, theatre, racetrack and casino gambling. Professional sports events include Miami Dolphins football, Florida Marlins baseball, Miami Heat basketball and Florida Panthers ice hockey. The area offers world class shopping, discount shopping, and an abundance of restaurants. A short distance away, you can explore the Florida Keys and swim with the dolphins, touch base with nature on a guided air-boat tour into the Florida Everglades, or visit the incredible NASA Space Center and Astronaut Museum. Should you seek a bit more adventure, you may charter a cruise on the 32 foot boat docked at the Palm House. A Coast Guard certified boat captain will be your host as you cruise the waterways of the 'Venice of America.'
