Located 45 min. from San Juan where Puerto Rico meets the Carribean Sea, you'll find remote coves, stretches of open beach,and luxury resort lifestyles. One of the most dramatic shorelines is near Humacao at Punta Santiago, a promontory that juts into the jade waters of the Caribbean Sea. Off its tip is Santiago Cay,a small islet inhabited only by Rhesus monkeys. Boat rides around the Cay are readily available and the short trip is great for children. Within a 10 min. drive, is JC Penny, Wal-Mart, Cineplex etc..The resort offers casino, 18 restaurants, horseback riding ,tennis center (private lessons and tennis camp for kids available) and 2 breathtaking golf courses with ocean views. El Yunque Tropical forest is 20 min away. For a day-sailing to the Phosphorescent Bay and many others island adventures is also available.

Restaurants The resort has over 18 restaurants offering a variety of fine and casual dining to satisfy everyone's taste. And for the adventurous with an appetite for fresh snapper prepared Puerto Rican style, take the golf cart and head over to Anchor's Village. You will be directed to the shack at the Ocean's edge where the local fishermen bring fresh snapper daily and serve it up with 'tostones' and your favorite beverage (alcohol and non-alcohol). Also Supermarket at Palmanova Plaza, everything can be access by golf cart (from the house),or car.

Equestrian Center Palmas Del Mar Equestrian Center is the most complete in the Caribbean with 64 stables. Trail rides are available throughout the day and special rides are available upon request.

Golf Information: Fronting a long sandy beach, Palmas del Mar Country Club on Puerto Rico's southeast coast offers two fine world class courses. The Flamboyan Course, a solid layout by Rees Jones opened in 1998, is a multi-theme design woven through wetlands, meadows, and coconut palms, with several holes bordering the Caribbean Sea. Jones also reworked the resort's Palm course ,creating three new holes and revamping several others.
