Kailua-Kona, is located 6 miles South of the Kona International Airport on the Big Island of Hawaii. The town has a beautiful bay with many water tours and activites to be had. Restaurants from fast food to casual fine dining. Shops range from flea markets to Wal-Mart to Louis Vuitton and many other specialty shops. The town also boasts several golf courses to choose from but still has a small town feel.

Restaurants There is an Internet Cafe located right next to the condo where you can get a cup of Kona Coffee. Some well known restaurants in walking distance such as the Hard Rock Cafe, The Outback, Bubba Gumps and Hugos. If fast food is what you want McDonald's is located two and a half blocks North from the back side of the condo. A local favorite, the Big Island Grill, is about two blocks past a McDonald's. Sports bars, sushi bars, karaoke bars and dancing establishments all within walking distance.
Local Activities There are a few family oriented activities within walking distance. Including kid friendly beaches and unique local shops. During season every Saturday there is a farmer's market 5min. away.
