The Bayside at Ocean City resort community is ideal for families, away from the crowds, traffic and noise, and with enough entertainment within the community. Yet, it is only 4 miles to beach at the inlet and boardwalk and only 2 miles of easy drive to Assateague Island, famous for wild ponies that roam the island and much less crowded than the beach. That means more room and more privacy on the Island to play for you and yours. It offers public bathrooms. You may even be able to drive on the Island for a fee. The public boat ramp is approx 2 miles away. If you don't want to drive to the beach at the inlet or the boardwalk, you can drive 2 miles to Rt 50 and take a shuttle for $1.00 to avoid paid parking. Within short distances, you can: go to the movies, go shopping, go Kart racing, golfing, dining, and water sporting activities.
