Granada villa Rental Property Information
The owners are a French-South African couple, both artists, very much reflected in the design style and colors of the house. Peach colored walls accented by lavender blue and terracotta tile work serve as a backdrop for the large scale original art work that is featured in the house. Located in a quiet street a short walk from the central square, restaurants, the Casa Tres Mundos Cultural Center and the Convent Museum, the house is perfectly located. The house itself is completely renovated and maintains loyalty to a Colonial aesthetic -- soaring high sugar-cane ceilings with traditional red tile roofs and open air sala and courtyard. Additional contemporary features: The dipping pool with its creative wave design is a perfect place to cool off during the mid-day heat. A mosaic of blue tiles leads you to a hidden upstairs patio, ideal for stargazing. The MBR leads onto a interior garden in the bathroom, which creates light and air and is a unique design feature. AC in both bedrooms.

Guest Book Comment: Raphael - Paris, France 'The house is very classy. We loved going shopping to the local market and cooking meals at home... the pool is a must during the day and perfect place to relax at night. We were a bit nervous about getting around because we don't speak Spanish -- no problem!'
Guest Book Comment: Chantal&Caroline - Los Angeles 'Gorgeous! Thank you so much! We had a blast -- the house is so beautiful and conveniently located. Loved sitting on the steps, just watching the 'traffic' go by -- a man selling honey, then a woman selling fish, then a boy leading his bulls down the street, then a parade with much fanfare... I'm coming back next year!
Guest Book Comment: Jason - New York 'Hola! Thanks for sharing your home - highlights for us: night time glass of wine on the cool upstairs patio, zip line above the tree tops was just great! The pick up from the airport started us with comfort and with no stress. Love the art around the house. We went to San Juan for 2 days - was worth the journey, but also glad to get back 'home' in Granada. The house is full of charm...
Other Activities Trekking through cloud Forest on Volcano Mombacho; swimming in Crater Lake; shopping in huge traditional market;
