Estes Park house Rental Property Information
A tranquil setting, convenient to the Rocky Mountain National Park and to the town of Estes Park. A five minute drive will put you at the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. Five minutes will also get you to the center of downtown Estes Park. Most restaurants are within ten minutes and all of the fine dining within fifteen minutes of this property. This 2700 square foot home sits at an elevation of 8200 feet at the base of Rams Horn Mountain. Natural beauty and Wilderness are right outside the door. Elk, deer, hummingbirds, chipmunks, rabbits, ground squirrels, hawks and falcons are seen daily here. We have named our mountain house 'Dream Lake' after one of our favorite hiking trail stops. Hiking trails in Rocky Mountain National Park to Emerald Lake and Lake Haiyaha take us past Dream Lake. Our choice of name is also influenced by the brightness of the stars in the night sky, the Quiet, and the view so beautiful it seems surreal!

This home is 2.9 miles from the center of Estes Park. Music, Art and festivals along with great shopping and dining are minutes away. The entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is 2.5 miles with its Hiking, wildlife, and sight seeing. Mary's lake shore is about 1200 feet away. Mary's Lake Campground is about 2500 feet, and Mary's Lake Lodge about a mile by car around the south side of the lake. Mary's Lake Lodge has excellent dining. We are on over an acre in an area where most properties are an acre or more. Our neighbors are mostly hidden from view by the trees and rock outcroppings. It is very private, but not remote. Bureau of Land Management public land is four hundred feet from our driveway. You can hike and explore for miles on Rams Horn Mountain and Giant Track Mountain. Estes Park's 18 hole Golf course clubhouse is three miles from our driveway. The nine hole course is about four and a half miles away.

| Notes: | Folding tables and chairs can extend the Dining table to seat 16. Some furniture will need to be moved to have one long table. We have matching china and silver to serve 16. The kitchen is well equipped with two toasters, two coffee makers, an espresso/cappuccino machine, coffee grinder, a microwave, blender, mixer, malt mixer, bread maker, donvier-style ice cream maker, two crock pots, one 8.5 qt, one 1.5 qt., and numerous pots, pans and utensils. another microwave is in the lower living area. In addition to our matching setting for 16, the property has plenty of everyday plates, silver, cups and glasses, etc. There are two gas grilles. One is steps away from the kitchen on the south deck. The other grill is located on the lower level covered flagstone patio. This grill gets little use but is very nice to have if it rains. |

New for 2008, Home theater A 120' home theater is new for this year,the lower living area is perfect for this. High definition projector and surround sound, the projector automatically adjusts for the ambient light in the room. The projector is powerful enough to watch movies, tv, or gaming in the daytime with the curtains open. At night the picture is awesome. The theater has its own tv tuner,120 channels of satellite tv, a dvd player and x-box are available. Six to eight people can be seated in chairs and on the couch. More can be seated by bringing the stackable chairs down from the upstairs closet. This theater is very unique as you can view the mountains and wildlife while you are watching movies or TV!
