The House of Bamboo is located in an area known as Lesiaceva, a short stroll from Cousteau Resort and approximately six kilometres from the township of Savusavu. Set on the tranquil shores of Savusavu Bay. Situated on Fiji's second largest Island, Vanua Levu. This area is known as The Hidden Paradise, clicheyish but true. Here you will experience true Fijian hospitality and really feel like you are somewhere off the well trod tourist trails. Some say that Savusavu is reminiscent of parts of Hawaii well before it became what it is today. Savusavu can be accessed by air from Nadi with either Pacific Sun or Air Fiji, both offer daily, morning and afternoon flights. There are also regular ferries from Lautoka and Suva. Once you arrive you can relax and unwind or arrange for fishing, diving or sailing charters. Maybe even visit the local Black Pearl farm or just laze around and rediscover the art of relaxation. Airport transfers to and from Savusavu airport are included in your tariff.

| Notes: | The House of Bamboo is set high above the coconut palms with amazing views of Savusavu bay. There are approximately 100 stairs leading up to the House so it is not considered suitable for the elderly or infirm, having said that one of our guests was 88 years of age and was unperturbed by the stairs. The choice is yours. Unexpected luxuries have been added to the House of Bamboo to make your stay something special like flatscreen television, DVD and a small library of movies. Sound system with CD's and crisp Egyptian Cotton Sheets, large fluffy towels, beach and pool towels are also provided. It is advised that you bring your own snorkeling equipment, for hygiene and comfort reasons. Note that the pool area is unfenced so if you do have children they must be supervised at all times. This property may not be suitable for younger children. |

Guest Book Kit and Linda, USA, April 08. Congratulations to you both for creating such a gorgeous place to relax and enjoy the outstanding view. Easily the best place we've ever rented ! Of the three places we stayed in Fiji, Savusavu was the best. It's such a beautiful area and the town is unspoiled by the usual tourist stuff ! Highlights included snorkelling at split rock and lighthouse point. Great massages from Peleise, the warmth of the local people and socializing with our neighbours. We also had fun fishing with Ika Levu and sailing with Seahawk. Thanks especially to Brad, Therese, Zack and Ella for wonderful hospitality. You made us feel more like guests than renters. No Wonder We Stayed Longer Than Planned !!
Other Activities lazing in your own hammock, sleeping in an outdoor bure or just lazing around your own private pool
