The house has a private, secluded setting and is tucked back from the road. It is walking distance to the village center with many casual and fine restaurants, shops and coffee houses. It is a mere .2 miles from the Cape Cod Bike Trail and walking distance to Rock Harbor (.7 miles). Skaket Beach (bay) is 1.1 miles, doable by bike, and Nauset Beach (National Seashore=ocean) is a short 3.1 miles away. Located on the outer Cape, Orleans is convenient to places as you enter the Cape and to towns leading out to Provincetown.

Close to everything!! Short walking distance to casual and fine restaurants, coffee houses, galleries, shops, the Cape Cod Bike Trail (.2 miles), and Rock Harbor (.7 miles). Short drive to Skaket Beach (1.1 miles to the bayside) and Nauset Beach (3.1 miles to the National Seashore). The Cape Cod National Seashore was voted one of the most beautiful beaches in America.

Many things to do!! The National Seashore Center in Eastham offers many programs for families, as does the Audubon Center in Wellfleet. Several Playhouses in the area offers summer theatre which changes on a weekly basis, such as the Academy Playhouse in Orleans, the Dennis Playhouse, the Wellfleet Harbor Actor's Theatre (WHAT). There is a Farmer's Market on Saturday morning in Orleans, and frequent Art Shows. There are also weekly band concerts at the Nauset Beach Gazebo and for the kids there is mini- golf located nearby. For sports fans, the Orleans Cardinals, a Summer Cape League Baseball Team, plays regular games a little over one mile away on Route 28. Rock Harbor offers deep sea fishing adventures and there is surf fishing at Nauset Beach. Whale watching is a popular activity in Provincetown. And, finally, the Cape is a bird watcher's paradise!
