Other activities The Shenandoah National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway are lovely all year round and within easy driving distance. A favorite 'new' attraction to the area is the Udvar-Hazey Center (part of the Air & Space Museum), but advanced reservations are recommended for that! If you wish to visit DC, the Park and Ride is about 40-45 minutes away.
